About Us

"Without an up or down, the hardest thing to do is not get lost." - Rick Hardslab, CPT. 787 Centennial

What would become the unresolved Derelict Database was founded in 2235 as a public access extension of standard FTC traffic array data. In 2236 a volunteer based forum known as the Lost Sectors began using the traffic array data to correlate reports of missing starships. In 2240 the FTC array data service shut down, though later private access was offered to Lost Sector users, which in late 2240 re-branded as the Unresolved Derelict Database, officially forming as a 501c non profit within SolGov jurisdiction.

We are currently funded jointly by the CDX Starworks Historical Division and SolGov Naval FTC.

Our Mission

We aim to provide as much data as possible from participating traffic control bodies in a collaborative volunteer driven environment. As a secondary function of our database, we aim to provide a historical record of as many derelicts as possible, hopefully serving as a resource for future informational bodies and or individuals.

We also feature an active user led forum, providing community and collaborative space for the wonderful volunteers who keep this project running.
